Both Roshans’ are busy with ‘Kites’ currently and will begin work on ‘Krrish 3’ properly only after ‘Kites’ releases. However, Hrithik joins his father and the writers whenever he isn’t shooting to see to it that ‘Krrish 3’ has every detail in place.Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that he will be directing ‘Krrish 3’ but adds that there’s still a considerable amount of time left before the movie starts shooting. He stated that they did approach Rakesh Mehra to direct the film, but he got busy with Delhi 6 and they got busy with ‘Kites’ and nothing was decided upon. Mehra, however, states that he was never directing ‘Krrish 3’.
