Aamir plays hide and seek

Aamir Khan played a prank with the media today after the actor did not turn up despite being the top guest for the occasion. Aamir's disappearing act was seen as a gimmick to attract more attention to the film.

After the entire cast of 3 IDIOTS marked their presence at the event, the only person conspicuous by his absence was Aamir Khan. Though the actor never turned up, his video clip urged people to play hide and seek with him. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra was the most animated in answering the missing actor. He said, "We all have no clue were Aamir is. Wherever he is, he is watching you."

The entire gathering was hoping against hope that the perfectionist will emerge out of somewhere. But like the title of the film, the gathered crowd returned disillusioned. Feeling idiotic in the end.

Aamir Khan to get Rs. 11,000 for the first ticket of 3 Idiots!

Fans are of different kinds, complete with their oddities. A fan of Aamir Khan’s from Jodhpur, Mahendra Singh Rathore, wants to be the first person to whom a ‘3 Idiots’ ticket is issued. If he is granted that wish, he will gift Rs. 11, 000 to either Aamir Khan or Vidhu Vinod Chopra, whoever issues the ticket to him.

He reached Mumbai today and will be staying in Lokhandwala Complex until ‘3 Idiots’ releases, that is, until Christmas. He hopes to return home happy. He will be taken to Aamir or Vidhu’s office by a TV producer in order to request for the first ticket.

When asked why he wants to offer Rs. 11, 000, he clarifies that he knows that neither Aamir nor Vidhu need that money, it will only be his way of expressing his happiness and like shagun. He wants the first 3 Idiots ticket to come to him, as he loves Aamir. He believes Aamir is simply marvelous as he always has a hit, despite releasing just one film per year.
